“You make us a happier club” was how one swim coach described Olly Timing recently. “We no longer have disputes between parents about timekeeping”.
A group of parents made similar comments, “There is a better sense of community…. we don’t need to worry about who is doing timekeeping”.
Gulp, I didn’t realise that we are in the happiness business. That’s very humbling and quite a responsibility.
We have just completed our largest event
At Swimming NSW Senior Age State Championships this week we recorded 8,728 times over 52hrs and 14 sessions of operation. Over 6 person months of timekeeper effort (approximately 700 shifts) was removed.
Many thanks to Swimming NSW for hiring us, the wonderful Swimming NSW officials team for working with us, and Archie, Aruk, Nick and Tash for operating Olly.
