Version 2.3.0 released

Olly Timing v2.3.0 is here, and it’s packed with improvements that make race day smoother for everyone on the pool deck.

We’ve rebuilt several key screens with a cleaner, more intuitive interface, including a brand-new in-app meet editor that lets you add events, adjust heats, and fix details without ever touching an external file. Pool setup is now faster too, with a streamlined configuration screen and safer editing that only saves changes when you’re ready.

Under the hood, we’ve made swimmer detection smarter and more accurate, expanding our colour-recognition system and adding fine-tuned sensitivity controls so the software adapts better to different pool conditions and lighting. Timing precision also got a boost with an improved calibration method that eliminates stray readings, and a handy new notification bar keeps you informed with clear, color-coded messages right when you need them.

Beyond the visible changes, this release includes a long list of refinements: a redesigned race clock display, more reliable data persistence so your settings and heats stick around when you need them to, and numerous stability fixes across the board. It’s all part of our ongoing commitment to making Olly Timing faster, more reliable, and easier to use, meet after meet.

v2.3.0 will be made available to customers running Olly Timing “Gen 2” systems during their next update cycle.
